Many months have passed and I'm still upset it came to that. The deal was done and then the political climate changed suddenly, and America lost. I hope several politicians will lose as well this November as a result.
Moving forward.
Since the shutdown everyone forgot about Syria, weed went on the market, global warming jokes grow exponentially everytime artic air sweeps record breaking cold over the majority of the country, Obama is still blamed for everything.
Fitting, as W certainly shouldered the blame for most of everything his 2nd term and well into Obama's 1st term.
Jan. 28 2014 the President gave his annual State of the Union Address.
Which included a lot of great sound bites a few moments of hopeful promises and declarations, but mostly empty words that sounded good.
The Olympics were hosted in Russia, and days later they showed the world they aren't afraid to be bold by showing up in Crimea with tanks.
I can't help but recall the red flag that waved about Russia during the Syria business……..
Meanwhile Americans continue to be more interested and worried about themselves….in other words nothing has changed, at least here on this side of the pond.
